1 owner, 1997 Chevrolet Camaro
Take a look at those pictures and tell me how many miles are on that car.
You'll find out shortly.
Purchased brand new in Seymour, CT and has been babied by the same owner for the last 25+ years.
All maintenance has been performed at the dealership.
He bought car because he liked the shape and was just looking for a nice car to enjoy. He wasn't looking for big engines or HP.
He did opt for the Y87 HiPo 3800 V6 (200HP/230lb ft) , cloth interior and T-tops and the F41/FE9 handling suspension set up.
Other RPO options include:
PS, PW, PLocks, PM, AC (still blows very cold), 30th Anniversary stitching, full reclining Euro style 6 way power bucket seats, PB (the Y87 package upgrades the brakes to those on the V8 cars), dual outlet exhaust, Cruise control, tilt leather steering wheel, 3:42 rear diff ratio w/Limited Slip, 4 spd w/OD auto transmission (4L60E), full gauges, AM/FM/CD w/ 8 speakers and the auto on/off headlamps.
Pretty much all the seals and gaskets have been replaced on the engine, the belts, several sensors, the AC compressor, center driveshaft bearing, water pump, tie rods, brakes, sway bar bushings, and lots more.
The car has been garage kept it's entire life.
There are some very minor stone chips in the paint but over all the Bright Silver Metallic shines very nicely.
The biggest issue I saw when inspecting the car was the tears in the headliner up under the T-Tops, not noticeable with them on.
She starts right up and idles smoothly, runs great, drives and handles smoothly, the dual outlet exhaust and HiPo V6 sound nice and rumbly but not obnoxious. The V6 pulls very strong.
The interior is in excellent condition, not even any wear on the cloth seats with the 30th anniversary stitching.
This is a great summer cruiser for the person looking for a fun car to just tool around the shoreline or country roads in. Pull the T-Tops and it's a convertible. The V6 has plenty of umph to move her along and yet will get mid 20's fuel economy while doing so.
You have a practically new condition car to enjoy that has only covered, on average, 7700 miles a year.
Yes, this beautiful specimen has 194,000 miles and a totally clean CarFax.
If you're ready for great summer car, she's the one for you.
Asking price is $6000
