1994 Mercedes Benz SL 500 Roadster

In 1994, Mr. Sisco walked into Carriage House Mercedes Benz in New London, CT and purchased this beautiful dark teal metallic SL 500. It appears as though he owned it through 2007, having most of the service done at the Carriage House. The next owner was from that south eastern part of CT as well, Mr. Davis. He too chose to bring the car to the Carriage House for service. When he passed away several years ago (2020), the estate sold the car to the current owner. He's had it serviced regularly at P and P Automotive in Manchester, CT.

The current owner has done regular oil changes, had new leather seat covers installed on the seats, brake and radiator fluid flush, new tires in 2020 ( Pirelli Cinturato P7 - 225/55/R16) , new front wheel seals and repacked bearings, new headliner in the hard top and a new driver window motor and regulator installed.

The car has roughly 136,000 miles but due to vigilant service from day one, most at a dealership, this car runs and drives like new.

Because it's a Mercedes Benz it has a slew of luxury appointments - 8 way, heated, power seats (the driver head rest does not adjust), Bose Cassette, CD stereo (only the rear speakers working at the moment), electric tilt wheel, power soft top, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, 4 wheel power disc brakes, air bags, ABS, AC  - currently blowing cool but not cold, needs a recharge - power antenna, piston activated ash tray removal, cruise control, traction control and more.

The beautiful teal green metallic paint shows very well, despite the mileage, there are some small touch ups as seen in the photos, overall though does not look like 136K miles. The body and under side are rust/rot free, there is minor surface rust. The interior is in awesome condition, with nary a tear or crack in any surface. The trunk is the same way, maybe even better.

Everything works except for the aforementioned items.

There are two small tears in the soft top headliner, these do not affect weatherability of the top, it does not leak. The hard top is a lift on and secure down type, it is not a hard top convertible. The hard top is in gorgeous condition as well.

Those who know Mercedes cars know that 134K miles is not a detriment, especially when cared for like this one. It easily has another 100K if maintained the same way.

The 5L V8 produces over 300 hp and moves that effortlessly to the ground through a 4 speed auto trans and traction controlled rear end. It starts easily, runs strong and smooth and drives the same way.

It is ready for your enjoyment, fully turn key.
