This car was manufactured at the Lansing, MI plant in the first week of April, 1969. It didn't venture very far as the first owner purchased her from Victor George Oldsmobile in Flint, MI and she stayed there until about 18 years ago when the second and current owners found her and saved her from a rusty grave.
She is just 1 of 569 Cutlass S Holiday Coupe W31's ever produced.
I might make a wager that she's one of the best if not the best one in existence.
The current owners embarked on an 18 year journey to bring this wonderful black beauty back to life.
The restoration was extensive as she was quite rusty. Practically every body panel was replaced, however the engine, transmission, Super Stock II wheels and rear end are original to the car/numbers matching and all carry their correct factory original stampings. Oldsmobile certification expert and all around Olds guru Steve Minore was consulted and was part of the build, making sure that every nut and bolt, every swatch of color, grease pencil mark, label, decals, etc were exactly factory correct.
Everything.
Some of what made the W31 so special was the W31 only 325HP 350CI V8, the under bumper "Ram Rod" ram air intake, a Muncie M20 4 speed, and the 3:42 geared, Anti-Spin rear end.
This car was also optioned with the following -
A02 Windshield, Soft Ray Tinted
A51 Strato bucket seats
G80 Axle, Anti-Spin Rear
G92 Axle Package, 3:42 to 1
M20 Transmission, Wide Ratio, Fully Synchronized 4-Speed Floor-shifter, Close-Ratio—Includes Hurst Shifter

PK5 Tires, G70 x 14” Blackwall Wide-Oval Bias-Belted – With raised white letters

Y60 Lamps and Mirrors- Convenience
Her trim codes give her a black bucket seat interior with rally dash, full carpeting, Paint is 10-10 Ebony Black with the white stripe package.
The correct gold painted 350 V8 was completely rebuilt and includes the correctly coded Q-Jet carburetor, the "5" casting cylinder heads and the super rare W31 only harmonic balancer.
Steve's full Rocket Report and certificate are available to get all the down and dirty specifics.
Here's the raw meat of this gorgeous car.
This car is better than a brand new 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S W31.
She starts right up, idles smoothly, drives great, the paint is almost perfect, as is the interior. You can eat off of any surface on this car, that's how clean it .
If you'd like to see the full Rocket Report, have any questions, would like to schedule a time to inspect her, or make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me.
