1948 Chrysler Royal Project/Parts Car

Several years ago the owner was offered this car very cheaply from a friend who needed to move and get rid of this project. The current owner was learning to weld and figured, what the heck, it certainly needs a bit of welding, what have I got to lose.

Unfortunately as life changes, so the best laid plans. Now needing room and having found a more plausible project - 56 Jeep CJ, it has been decided to send this one on it's way.

Sadly, it may just be a parts car as opposed to a project that someone puts back on the road .. but .. the engine does turn over and it when bottle fed some high octane fuel, it sputtered to life and ran for about 30 seconds. So, as the glass is in awesome condition, maybe toss some Mexican blankets over the seats, pull out the torn headliner, paint the car black or other solid color, drop some tires on it, get it running reliable, get the brakes set up and you have a neat rat rod .. maybe drop in a built Slant 6 225, or a big block .. slap some street sign floors in it and have some fun .. save this wonderful car.

Not a lot to say about it .. photos say a thousand words.

It's rusty, needs tons of work to be a cruise night car/ restoration candidate. The seats are actually OK, it rolls. Or part it out and make some money back on it.

Asking price on this parts/project is $1500.

Any questions, to schedule a time to see it in person, or simply to make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for the interest!
